The Designer and Builder:
Sierra Crisp
Growing up, I lived in what my friends lovingly called “The Hobbit House.” With a family of five and under a thousand square feet, every inch of space mattered. My father had been building houses for years, and thus our own home was meticulously planned. I learned to use a miter saw long before I could ride a bike. On the weekends, my father and I worked to cut and lay the tile in my childhood bathroom, measure trim work, and lay roofing material. From a young age, I was taught that beauty should never outweigh function, instead they must be harmonious. Perhaps it was those early days of helping my parents build our home that created my love for design and construction. Whatever the reason, through the years I’ve found nothing quite as satisfying as changing the way one feels as they enter a home. I live for the “Before and After!” That, and perhaps the smell of a fresh coat of paint!
When I’m not renovating properties, you can find me in the ceramic studio. Clay has offered me a new way to challenge myself creatively while feeding my love for interior design and home decor. You can see my ceramics shop here:
How It Works
We work with investors to remodel, stage, and market their rental properties, as well as purchase our own. We take average tract homes and make them truly one of a kind. Whether we are doing a full scale remodel, or a small accent wall, designing for a tenant brings on a whole new set of challenges. How do you design for someone you’ve have never met?
How do you create something timeless that appeals to a variety of tenants? All our remodels are planned with aesthetics, functionality, and durability in mind. We want our projects to withstand years of love and wear. These rentals are designed not just to be beautiful, but to accommodate the life you create within them.
