When designing this bedroom, I was fully prepared to scour the city for what I needed. It's very rare we're able to find everything we need to achieve the look we're going for in just one store. Although, as I made my way through my local Target, starring wide-eyed at their sleek new home section, I knew I had hit the mother load! Transfixed by gold and marble lighting, sleek end-tables, and minimalistic artwork, I steadied myself on my soon-to-be-full shopping cart. Modern had never been my style, but suddenly, while standing in that brightly lit aisle, it was.
Other than the rug, everything in this bedroom was purchased at Target. Project 62 became my obsession and I staged The Brick House almost entirely from that line. The bedroom was crisp and modern. Yet, it had a cozy feeling that made you never want to leave.
